Overview
The Action Planner lets users and admins create, track, and manage goals and plans based on forms. It supports both individual and team goals, recurring or one-time activities, and real-time performance tracking.
Key Features
Plan Creation
- Create a new plan via Action Planner → Add New Plan
- Define Plan Name, Plan Type, Target Value, Form Base, Active Status, and Timeframe
- Assign Responsible Users or Teams
- Select the Context: Users, OU, or Locations
- Configure recurrence: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, or Once
Goal & Plan Types
- Individual: Each assigned user meets the target independently
- Team: Target achieved collectively by a group
- Target Type: Minimum or Maximum value
Plan Activities
- Plan upcoming activities with deadlines
- Activities appear in Agenda → Plan Activities for responsible users
- Clicking an activity opens the associated form for submission
- Submissions are logged automatically against relevant plans
Performance Tracking
- Performance Tab shows status: In Progress, On Track, Missed
- Displays trends, actual vs target, and historical data
- Export data to Excel including plan details and performance metrics
Accountability
- Owner: Can edit plan and view performance
- Recipient: Can view performance only
Plan Conditions
- Form responses can trigger updates to plans using Plan Conditions
- Supports AND/OR logic and multiple plan selection
Clone Plans
- Clone Plan button creates a new plan pre-filled from an existing one
- Editable before saving, generates a new plan ID
- Original plan remains unchanged
Access & Eligibility
- Users see only Plan Activities they are responsible for and within the active timeframe
- No permission to a form triggers an error:
“You do not have permission to access this form. Please contact your system administrator for assistance.”
