The system allows an organization to manage its organizational defect tree and then define forms that can point to a specific type of defect.
How to perform:

Go to the Action (Task) Management module, then open the "Issue Types" screen at the top of the page.

In the screen that opens, you can view the defined defect types and create new ones.

Click "Add Issue Type +" on the left to add a new type to the list.
In the screen that opens, define the following details:

Name – The defect name.

External ID – A unique identifier for reference.

Status – Active / Inactive.

Issue Type – You can define a hierarchy from the existing gap types. Select from the drop-down list.
You can also define an external organizational identifier.
When finished, click Save.
You can set a parent issue type to create a tree with parents and children. For example:
Parent: "Not Compliant" → Child: "Temperature Out of Range"
Defect types cannot be deleted once created, but they can be edited and marked as inactive.
You can view the list of gap types at any time.
