Managing Inspection Statuses
The system includes statuses that make it easy to manage which inspection types are active, no longer relevant, or were created by mistake.
This feature helps keep your inspection data clean, accurate, and up to date.
How to Access the Status Settings
From the main menu, click the Assets icon on the right side of the screen.
Select Equipment Details: Types.
Choose the desired equipment type from the list.
Go to the Inspections tab.
You’ll see a list of inspection types linked to the selected equipment type.
Next to each inspection, open the Status menu and select one of the following options:
Active – The inspection is active and created as usual.
No Longer Needed – The inspection is no longer required. No new inspections will be created, but the history will remain available.
Created by Mistake – The inspection was created by mistake. All existing inspections will be hidden, and no new ones will be created.
Who Can Change the Status
Only system administrators can update an inspection’s status.
When a status is changed, a confirmation message will appear explaining what the change will do.
System Impact
Inspections marked as No Longer Needed or Created by Mistake will not appear in the task agenda.
Inspections marked as Created by Mistake will not be shown to users anywhere in the system.
At any time, an inspection can be set back to Active, and new inspections will start being created again automatically.
