This setup defines how a specific inspection form will affect the inspection result based on selected answers.
- Go to Forms builder through the action screen.
- Create a new form with all the fields and relevant questions.
- After creating the form, open the Edit Form page by clicking on the pencil icon of the relevant form:
Scroll down until the Inspection type setup appears:
- Click on add inspection type setup:
- For the form to affect the inspection status - create inspection type setup.
First, select a status from the Status dropdown, representing the inspection result.
Available options include:
- Passed
- Failed
- Pending
- Passed With Conditions
- Expired
After choosing the status, then you need to define how the system will evaluate the inspection result. This is done by selecting one of the following options under the Status Rule field:
- Specific Answers
Choose specific answers that, when selected in the form, will trigger a predefined inspection status (such as Fail or Pass). This is useful when certain answers clearly determine the outcome.
- Defect Questions
Mark certain questions in the form as “defect-related.” If any of these questions receive a non-compliant (defect) answer, the inspection will be considered failed.
- Defect Question Rate
Define a defect percentage (e.g., 20%). If the percentage of defect answers out of all questions exceeds this rate, the inspection status will be marked as failed. This method is useful for inspections with multiple critical points where overall performance is evaluated.
Each of these options allows flexible configuration of how the system interprets results and assigns inspection status accordingly.
Expand the form structure and check relevant questions - mark Individual answers
Note: The small arrow next to a question indicates a selection.
In order to add more conditions and status configurations, click the ➕ Add Inspection Type Setup button to define additional statuses and their conditions.
You can repeat this process for each status to create the outcome of an inspection based on form answers.
- After adding the types and pressing save, they appear within form edit below Inspection type setup.
- Copy the Form ID from the URL
- Go back to the Inspection Type - where filled “Yes”on Form is Required.
- Paste the Form ID in the "Form ID" field
