Every user according to their permissions can view equipment types and details on two different screens:
Viewing Equipment Details - How to Perform:
- Equipment Details Screen (List View): Upon clicking on the Assets module icon, this will be the first screen we'll encounter, where you can find a list of the existing equipment in the system. For each equipment item, the details will be displayed according to the columns in the table.
- Column arrangement - to add/remove/rearrange the displayed columns, click on the three dots button on the upper right side and choose "Manage Columns":
The screen will show two lists - the list of existing attributes and the list of available attributes to add.
To add - select the attribute from the available list and click the green plus button.
To remove - select the attribute from the existing list and click the red cross button.
To rearrange - drag the attribute up/down in the existing list.
Sorting by columns - in order to sort the table by a specific column, click on the column name, and that will organize the items from small to large values. An additional click will sort from large to small values. - Equipment Types Screen (Tab View): On the top left side of the screen, click on the aggregate view icon (cubes icon). This view will display the equipment details filtered by type.
Each of these tabs represent a single family type. Within the tab, you can find 5 statuses:- Active - The equipment under the displayed family that are defined as valid and active.
- Unusable - The equipment under the displayed family that are defined as invalid or unusable.
- Inactive - The equipment under the displayed family where the equipment item itself is expired and/or out of use.
- Expiring Soon - An equipment item with an approaching expiration date.
- Expired - An equipment item that has expired.
Please note! selecting one of the statuses will display the list of relevant values according to the selected filter.
Please also note that the expiration date for an equipment item is not regarding to its inspections but to the equipment's expiration date settings.
