The admin can import equipment details using an Excel file.
How to perform:
- Click on the Assets module in the side menu.
- The equipment details screen will display existing equipment - to import locations click here.
- Click on the three dots button at the top right and select "Import.
- Now, in the import screen, click on the upload button and choose the relevant file.
- Associate the fields accordingly (note - it is mandatory to define a unique identifier, equipment name, and type).
- After associating the fields, click on the 'Preview' button.
- This button will display the matches you have made between the fields from the Excel file to the system fields.
- If the fields do not match, click on the "Change Columns" button and realign the fields.
- Now, click on "Import."
- The system will display a pop-up window.
- Upon completing the file upload, the system will send you an email with the upload results.
