The Vitre System has built-in reports that can be configured for each company. Each report can contain multiple charts.
As of June 2023, and in a graded manner, the reports will also be available in the Vitre application- here.
As of August 2023, and in a graded manner, reports will also be displayed at an aggregated level.
Viewing permissions:
The system's reports can be public or private.
- Public reports - will be displayed to all company users.
- Private reports - allow displaying the report to a specific list of users. The list of users and/or teams can be edited by report managers. Admins will determine which users are authorized to manage the report.
At this stage, users at any level of authorizations cannot create or modify new reports or graphs. Admins should contact the support team.
Graph types:
The system supports displaying all available data. The system supports the following display types:
- Pie - allows setting a single parameter with countable values.
- Line - allows setting two parameters, X-axis and Y-axis.
- Bars (in vertical or horizontal view) - allows setting two parameters, X-axis and Y-axis.
- Score card - a tab that displays a single value.
- Table - allows setting a parameter for each row and a parameter for each column.
- Heatmap - allows setting a parameter for each row and a parameter for each column, with a numeric value in each cell, and setting cell color based on the numeric value.
All graph types support comparative view between periods, except for the Pie graph.
Filters:
Each of the report graphs can be separately determined, so users can change the filters they want during report presentation. These are the possible filters:
- By date
- By defined dimensions (entities)
- By project
- Comparison between two forms
- By dictionaries
- By users
Slices:
Each of the report graphs can be separately determined, so users can change the slices they want during report presentation. A slice refers to how the data is broken down into components, for example, displaying actions sliced by status compared to displaying actions sliced by date or location. These are the possible slices:
- By date (day, month, year, etc.)
- By defined dimensions (entity fields)
Sorting:
Each of the report graphs can be separately determined, so users can change the sorting of values during report presentation.
- By date (day, month, year, etc.)
- By defined dimensions (entities)
Setting a valid range:
Each of the report graphs can be separately determined, so report managers can specify ranges and lines that indicate the validity range, or the maximum and minimum range of the measured quantity, etc.
Multiple range lines can be defined for the same graph; the line is static and not adapted to the selected time period or filter.
Aggregated graphs (As of August 2023, and in a graded manner):
Each graph can be determined, whether it is aggregated or not (the default for new graphs is aggregated).
Aggregation can only be performed on data of hierarchical entities (locations, organizational units, NCRs). Equipment can use the aggregation of locations, and employees (context, action openers, action owners, form managers) can use the aggregation of organizational units.
If aggregation is enabled, each data level will count all the data of its descendants, including itself. For example, if we are asking to count how many actions were linked to an aggregated location, each location level will count all its actions and those of all its descendants, grandchildren, etc.
Additionally, it is possible to limit the level of aggregation to retrieve, for example, we can determine that the report will only return the immediate level under the company, and then only locations directly associated with the company will be displayed. If we determine level 2, only locations that are the grandchildren of the company will be displayed (without the parents) and so on.
Visual Actions:
The system allows all users to perform additional actions on the displayed graph:
- Invert X-axis and Y-axis.
- Display percentages instead of numbers.
- Drill Down, convert to a table.
- Exporting information to Excel or an image file.
- Display all labels versus selected ones.
- Turning on and off the valid range setting display.
Automated Periodic Sending:
The system allows each user to request automated periodic sending of the report - see a separate article.
