Only a System Administrator (user with ADMIN permissions) can import employee data into the system using an Excel file.
🛠️ How to Perform the Import:
- Go to the People module from the side menu.
- The employee list screen will display all existing employees (if any).
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-left corner and select Import.
- Click the Upload File button and choose the relevant Excel file.
- Map the fields — match the columns in your file to the system’s fields.
Important: You must include a unique identifier, full name, and email address.
- Click Preview to review the field mapping.
- If there are mismatches, click Edit Columns to adjust the mapping.
- Once everything is correctly mapped, click Import.
📧 What Happens After the Import?
- The system will display a pop-up with a status message.
- At the end of the process, you’ll receive an email with the import results.
- If the import fails, review the data in your Excel file, fix any errors, and restart the import process.
